Die Hard SAL

Yippee-Ki-Yay! This year's festive stitch-along is inspired by the film that I watch every Christmas Eve- Die Hard! The design features 8 quotes and 16 motifs, and there are no swear words, so it's safe for display at Christmas with the family!

The full design will be kept secret until the final part of the SAL is released, but you can see some sneak peeks in the photos, along with the colour palette.

Stitched using full cross stitches, backstitch and 12 French knots (to dot the ‘i’s), there are no partial stitches.

This kit comes with all the materials you need to finish the piece as a hanging banner, the only extra equipment required is a pair of sharp scissors and some pins.

Included in the kit:

• White Zweigart aida fabric, 14 count

• Pre-sorted DMC embroidery thread (20 colours)

• Red and white felt for finishing and banner-making (vegan-friendly acrylic)

• Wooden dowel

• Cotton yarn

• Pompom trim

• Size 24 tapestry needle, size 26 embroidery needle

• Printed stitch-along guide

All beautifully packaged in a fully recyclable box.

Each part of the pattern will be emailed to you on its release day. The schedule is as follows:

• Part 1 and Key - Saturday 1st November 2025

• Part 2 - Saturday 15th November 2025

• Part 3 and Instructions for making the banner - Saturday 29th November 2025

If you use all the materials provided, and follow the instructions, the finished banner will measure approximately 31cm tall x 22cm wide.
