Die Hard SAL - Pattern Only
Yippee-Ki-Yay! This year's festive stitch-along is inspired by the film that I watch every Christmas Eve- Die Hard! The design features 8 quotes and 16 motifs, and there are no swear words, so it's safe for display at Christmas with the family!
The full design will be kept secret until the final part of the SAL is released, but you can see some sneak peeks in the photos, along with the colour palette.
Stitched using full cross stitches, backstitch and 12 French knots (to dot the ‘i’s), there are no partial stitches.
Please note: The finished banner in the photos is for illustrative purposes only, you will receive the pattern in a PDF file format.
Each part of the pattern will be emailed to you on its release day. The schedule is as follows:
Part 1 and Key - Saturday 1st November 2025
Part 2 - Saturday 15th November 2025
Part 3 and Instructions for making the banner - Saturday 29th November 2025
Pattern Details:
82 stitches wide x 122 stitches high
Suggested fabric: White 14 count aida, minimum 10” x 13” (25.4cm x 33cm).
Stitched area size: 5 7/8” (14.9 cm) wide x 8 3/4” (22.2cm) high, approx.
Thread colours: 20
The example was completed using DMC floss, the pattern lists both DMC and, where possible, equivalent Anchor colour codes.

This kit is amazing, I am stitching it to display in my kitchen because my family are seriously fussy eaters and sometimes I want to say this to them, as soon as it's on the wall I can point at it instead of just telling them!! It's fabulous
